Horticultural Society Visits to Cerne Abbas Open Gardens 2020 – hopefully in 2021 too!
For more than 40 years Cerne Abbas has opened about 25 private gardens to raise money for charities.
We especially welcome organised trips from horticultural societies and, as many societies begin to plan their visits for next year about now, we thought you might appreciate a reminder of our event.
Last year we had 35 gardens open including a restored water meadow. Amongst more than 900 visitors were groups from West Camel, Ibsley (Ringwood) and Brislington (Bristol).
We were able to give more than £3000 to each of our two chosen charities: Weldmar Hospice Care Trust and Cerne Abba Watermeadow Trust.
The dates for 2020 are Saturday 20 June and Sunday 21 June and the gardens are open from 2-6 pm.
Our ticket price is £7 valid for one day but we give a £1 discount to organised groups of 20 or more. We are happy to liaise with organisers so as to provide tickets and maps beforehand or on arrival in Cerne.
We hope we may welcome you to Cerne.
